If you have had trouble with Cropper and SendToFlickr, mainly because the developers have FORGOTTEN TO INCLUDE THE BINARY in the release, have no fear, for Monty is here...

Download the Cropper plugin pack 0.9834 Beta 2, to obtain the correct version of the flickr DLL
and delete

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\Cropper.SendToFlickr Plugin

to reset the dialog box. I have just spent the last 45mins spelunking through both plugins to find out where to reset the settings.

Well its almost the end of May, and theres been quite a few things thats happened - I started the creation of my coding standards plugin, which im hoping people will start using, but I need to add more features to the plugin - like the ability to autocorrecting incorrect variable names, and I am also planning to introduce the same for method names and such, and maybe stealing the Cyclomatic Complexity from the Resharper samples...

In cycling terms, Iv started to really gear up for next month - London to Brighton is on the 16th of June, and will be very interseting, since its going to be the 5th year in a row that ill be doing it, and, id like to think im getting to be a stronger cyclist year after year, so I shouldnt suffer as much this year as opposed to the first year when I did it. That and I have worked out the closest place to my house where the route goes, so I kinda cheat and shave off 5 miles.

Snow valley decided to pay me, as soon as the Employment Tribunal paperwork hit thier desks - they were really scared when they called me up, and they paid me immediatly - I guess they didnt think id actually take this all the way to court. With that money, I have decided to buy a pair of cycling time trialing wheels, a nice set of Corima Quad spoke carbon fiber beauties. Might have to post up a photo of my bike at one point...

Work related, im still not sure whats happening - I need to sit down with my boss to work out if im going to be staying or not, and im still undecided.

That, and its a lovely 3 day weekend! Woohoo!

Well I have succeeded with my resharper plugin creation:

Well iv decided to try to create a Resharper plugin, based on some of the rules and guidelines of the Framework Design Guidelines book, mainly for the variable names, for now. Basically, I want to try to create a plugin that will throw up a warning if your variable names dont follow a certain convention - for public methods, the variable names should be PascalCased, whereas if you have a private method, the variable names should be camelCased...

That, and I just want to learn how to create Resharper plugins

I find this really hilarous. My old employer is refusing to pay me my holiday pay (which is my legal right), because they believe some code I wrote at home, after work, in my own time, for myself, is their property. They STILL think they have a right to hold my pay, and ask for the source code.

I have the following problems with it:

• I have never signed an agreement for them to hold my pay. They introduced a company policy, which I formally objected to, but still, I have not signed any such document. You actually need my signature to do this.
• The code was written at home, on my own equiptment, outside of office hours, for my self. It was not for the company, its employees, agents or was commissioned by anyone at the company.
• The offer was good, when I offered it, in FEB 22nd, not at the start of May. Because you have FORCED me to take you to the employment tribunal, there is no such offer. They will NEVER get a hold of the source code - I will release it as open source, with one condition - Snow Valley Limited, its employees, partners and agents cannot download the code, and cannot use it for anything.

They have claimed that they have not recieved the Formal Grievance letter that I had sent - tough luck! I have 3 eye witnesses, and a name/signature saying that I have delivered it to the offices. They will probably still try and bargain with me - but the shoe is on the other hand now, as they say. All I have to do is wait till the hearing.

So, Snow Valley (And Mr Nick Stone), I will see you on June 11th, at 10am.
